Valiante Returns to SuperNationals with Italkart

Italkart is pleased to announce that Michael Valiante will be representing the Italian karting outfit at the 2006 Skusa SuperNationals. Valiante will be a factory supported driver for the Italian based Italkart chassis manufacture while being run under the Italian Motors tent for this event.

Valiante will be hanging up his managerial hat that he normally wears on race weekends to pilot the all new Italkart Supersonic V powered by an IM Tuned TM engine. He will be competing along side current IM drivers Tad Funakoshi and David Jurca in ICC. “When I was asked to drive in the event, it was hard to commit because I am still racing cars full time. I have not been driving a kart very often so it will definaltely be a challenge. I know we have one of the best chassis/engine combinations available thanks to the hard work of Todd Bowman, David Carpentier and Tad Funakoshi. So hopefully with my addition to the team it will increase our odds of winning the event.” said Valiante.

Valiante has represented Italkart and Italian Motors for his whole karting career. He captured many prestigious karting victories while building Italkart and IM in to a karting house hold name. “Michael has always been an asset to the Italian Motors operation,” said Team coordinator, Claudia Valiante. “From developing young drivers, testing new products or being part of the day to day operation of the business. Whenever he is not racing himself, he is contributing not only to the team, but to the sport as a whole. It will be exciting to see him drive again.”

Valiante currently competes in Daytona proto types and you can learn more about by visiting www.michaelvaliante.com.
