Accomplishments 2003
- Tested with Champ Car team Walker Racing in two-day test. Michael was the fastest out of four drivers evaluated.
- Selected to drive for Walker Racing in the 2003 Fontana Finale in the CART series. Due to severe fire conditions in the area, this race was cancelled.
- Finished 3rd in the Toyota Atlantic Championship. Over the year Michael had three race wins (Miami, Mid-Ohio and Mexico) and six podium finishes.
